Blackjack: strategy

One of the first norms that you must consider to play blackjack is look out in the dealer´s upcard.  You know that always you play against the crupier, therefore, even although you don´t have a good cards you don´t need to request more cards and to assume risks, is possible that the dealer´s hand is worse and he has to risk. Generally you should not ask more cards if your hand is superior to 13 points and the dealer´s upcard isn´t superior to 7.

Seeks to exploit the plays in which you take some Ace, you know that the Ace can add 11 or 1. Evaluate your Ace considering that you risk less when asking a new card. You don´t forget the dealer´s upcard.

Try to diminish the advantage of casino doubling when you have a strong hand, on 10 or 11 points. Not double with 12 points, only they will give you one more card and can be a 10 or a figure, with which you will go to 21 points.

It´s good to learn when to divide the bets if you receive a pair. Always split Aces (if permitted in the casino), it´s a good opportunity to obtain “blackjack” with a 10 or a figure. You don´t divide if your pair is 5-5 or 10-10, in the first case you already have 10 points and would be easier to secure a high score from 10 that dividing in 5 and 5. Supposing that you already have 10-10 hand you have 20 points, why to risk more. In the other pairs the division depends, once again, of dealer´s upcard.
