Baccarat: history

The origins of baccarat go back to the Average Age. This game, like the blackjack, derives from a french game called “vingnt-en-un”. The present baccarat and his name evolved of an italian game, the “baccara” (zero), because that is the value of the figures and the tens.

In the following years the game extends towards France and later, in century XVIII, it arrives to England. The British soldiers during the expansion of their empire extend it by many other places, mainly by America.

At present it is one of the games most common and known by all the casinos and houses bets.
